Settler Week and Homestead Days in Vilhelmina
Each summer Settler Week (Nybyggarveckan) offers an exciting repertoire of activities to municipality inhabitants and is a well-visited happening in Vilhelmina. This arrangement is a cooperation between municipalities, various associations, and local cultural actors. Settler’s Week is largely composed by the rich association life, local enthusiasts, and the study associations. The engagement of the people behind it is what creates such a fine Product.
Hembygdsdagarna or “The Homestead Days” is an event marked by culture, folk music, traditional dance and music, homestead church service, concerts, markets, dance gala, and all sorts of entertainment imagineable. This event is held every year on the second weekend of July.
