When travelling in the rural areas you have various choices. If you’re coming from the south of Sweden, or travelling from another country, it’s easiest to book a flight to Vilhelmina, Lycksele or Hemavan. If you prefer to travel by train you have possibility to travel from Lycksele. In the summer inlandsbanan is another useful train option.

Between Storuman and Lycksele it takes one hour by car. Within less than one hour you have the possibility to commute between Storuman and Sorsele. The county runs daily bus traffic.
